ComChart EMR System Requirements

Client computers:

A computer at every work station, with a screen resolution of at least 1100 x 750 pixels and preferably at least than 1200 (width) and 900 (height).

Client software requirements: One copy of Filemaker Pro 11 for each computer.

Server computer:

A dedicated computer to act as a "server." This computer is use to run Filemaker Server and host ComChart EMR.

Server software requirements: One copy of Filemaker Server 11 or Filemaker Server 11 Advanced.

Server hardware requirements: for Filemaker Server or Filemaker Server Advanced

A networked printer with a center feed envelope tray, e.g HP 4100, 4200, 4300 series.

Backup hardware and software,  e.g. writeable DVDs

Fax Software: for those computers that will be used to dial a telephone and send a fax.
Faxes can be prepared from a computer that does not have the faxing software, however, only computers that include the necessary faxing hardware and software can actually send the fax. Faxes can also be sent via an Internet faxing company.
