Patient scheduling is an integral daily task for healthcare organizations. From family practices to large clinics, scheduling can quickly become complicated. Appointments need to be coordinated, and medical support staff have to be constantly aware of all new patients and doctors' schedules.

The ComChart EMR appointment scheduler takes the hassle out of appointment scheduling.  It's essential for the smooth functioning of your office. The ComChart  Appointment Scheduler comes standard with ComChart EMR.

The scheduler is the basis for reports that help you ensure that every patient who was seen gets billed.

The daily calendar presents a list of all the appointments for that day. Clicking on the desired time slot will put the patient's name into the daily calendar and, if desired, print out an appointment card for the patient. When patients are scheduled, ComChart automatically checks to see if they have any other future appointments and, if so, presents you with a list of all the patient's future appointments.

From the daily calendar, the secretary can easily obtain the patient phone numbers. This feature makes it very easy for the secretary to remind the patients about their upcoming appointment.

By clicking on the desired date, one is transported from the monthly calendar to the Daily Calendar.
