Clinical data on the Palm PDA or Pocket PC

ComCharthas created an interface for Palm Pilot and other PDA devices. It enables ComChart's users to store the records of thousands of patients on their Palm PDA or Pocket P. The health care provider can select to store any or all of the following types of information:

  • problem list
  • medicine list
  • allergy list
  • surgical history/old medical history
  • most recent flowsheet data
  • a listing of xrays done and summary of results
  • a listing of lab test names
  • last 5 progress notes
  • patient's demographic information
  • patient's telephone number
  • patient's pharmacy name/name
  • patient's email address
  • insurance information
  • code status/healthcare proxy information
  • PDA ComChart Progress Note (which can be transferred into the patient's ComChart chart)
  • a place to record 2 billing encounters (which can be transferred into the patient's ComChart chart)

Patient Scheduling on the Palm/PDA

ComChart also permits you to enter physician meetings on the ComChart meeting calendar. For those who use a MacIntosh OS X computer, this appointment can be transferred automatically to your PDA.

This increased functionality is consistent with our commitment to meet the needs of the EMR market and our customers. This feature is currently on our most recent version of ComChart.
