• Where is the spell checker?
  

  Built into Filemaker is a spell checker. To access this, select “Edit” from the menubar, then “spelling,” then “check record…” You can direct Filemaker to access a medical dictionary by choosing the “select dictionary” option.

• What is the medical or clinical database file?
  We recommend that you use the clincial database to store medical information, abstracts, differential diagnosis and other information that you may need while you are seeing patients. If you want a comprehensive computerized textbook of medicine, we strongly recommend "Up-to-date in Medicine". It is excellent and can be installed on your PC or Mac.
