In FileMaker Pro, the tab key moves your insertion point into a new field. To insert a tab character into a field: Click where you want to insert the tab, then press Ctrl-Tab (Windows) or Option-Tab (Mac OS). FileMaker sets the default tabs at a fixed interval, however the user can change this as per the FileMaker instructions.
